In the maze of narrow streets in the heart of Venice, at 5 minutes on foot from the Rialto, and at 15 minutes from Saint Mark, the B&B Corte 1321 can be found on a small and quiet square. It is also only 200 meters from the number 1 vaporetto stop of "San Silvestro" where the boats that travel to and from the Station, Piazzale Roma (car terminal), Saint Mark's, etc., take off.
Discovering the surrounding areas on foot can be very exiting. The area is one of the most picturesque in the city, starting with Campo San Polo, once a theater for the bull hunt and of masked celebrations during carnival time. Continue on towards Rialto, among all sort of shops evoking the oriental commercial spirit of the city, and then to the very colorful fruit and typical fish market, once called "Erbaria e Pescaria" which together with Beccaria, where meat was sold, conformed the commercial heart of Venice.
The Rialto Bridge will get you to the other side of the Grand Canal alongside two rows of picturesque shops. Before going through the bridge, stop and take a peak on your left at the Church of San Giacometto, which according to legend is the oldest in Venice. An inscription on an apse dating from the 12th century invites merchants to be honest and loyal, a testimonial to the close link between the church, the commercial endeavors, and the city. In front of this place, merchants would gather to seal contracts, and where the Hunchback statue stands, Decrees from the Republic were read. We also find here Banco Giro, one of the oldest lending institutions.
Once over the Bridge go to Campo San Bartolomeo and turn left, continue straight, over a bridge and after a short distance turn right and you will find Corte del Milion, across from the house of Marco Polo, the merchant who opened the doors of China to the western world and who described his voyages in his famous book "Milione". Turn back, continue on along the Mercerie among trendy shops; in less than ten minutes you will come upon the marvelous spectacle of Saint Mark's Square. Truly splendid with the long portico of the Procuratie framing the Basilica with the unmistakable Byzantine cupolas and its facade sparkling with all the mosaic.
From the vaporetto stop of "San Silvestro" to B&B Corte 1321 Once you get off the vaporetto continue on foot: pass Sottoportego de la Pasina, turn left and soon after turn right on Calle del Sbianchesisi and continue until you reach Campo Sant'Aponal. Take the third street on your left after the Pizzeria. At the end of the street keep right until you come to a small tree. You will have arrived, we are at number 1321.

By car
From the toll booth of highways A4 and A27, follow the signs for Venice. Park the car in one of the parking areas of Piazzale Roma or the island of Tronchetto (at the end of Ponte della Libertà , on your right). From Tronchetto, take vaporetto number 82 and get off at Piazzale Roma. From here take vaporetto number 1 for San Marco / Lido and get off after about 20 minutes at "San Silvestro", a stop after Rialto. Then follow directions as above.
